Eh, I think both sides are wrong on this one.

Sony was wrong in thinking that this was a good idea, and the media is wrong for making such a big deal out of it, when there actually was nothing wrong with it (only looked that way for effect).  I mean, the goat came already prepared from a butcher, so it is not like some insane animal sacrifice went on.

To maybe draw some parallels, I know that on Halloween, there are numerous parties that go on with similar themes.  These Halloween parties could have food present that looks like human brains for example, and do not get me started on all the crazy decorations that could be used.

So, the media, being the media, needs to blow things out of proportions to get those ratings (or hits on a web site) to get them those dollar dollar bills yall.
