Why don't we game together like we used? I miss the good old days of everyone getting in a party and pwning some noobs. It's what made gaming online fun. Why can't we do that anymore?

I agree. I think it was a combo of RSV sucking and Warhawk being so clan-unfriendly... I think we did alright in COD4 though. Potential games for this summer could be Socom and BF Bad Company... I think part of the reason was also tim's period of inactivity. I was hoping either marsh or papa would take controll for a while, and you guys did organise some CoD4 GBs. But we never play togeather anymore outside of that. Ee isn't as fun as you guys, too much drama and I choose not to use my mics cause they're no fun to talk to... I MISS THE GOOD OL DAYS :`(

I have definitely been noticing this too. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to keep consistently organizing the clan. It is hard to organize the clan for a gb when I am not going to be there and no one seems to have a clue what is going on other than the person who organized it. And I don't mean that in a "shame on you" way at all since I know I was the same way before I started organizing gb's. So here are my thoughts on what is needed to keep this clan going.
#1 - Settle on a game for us to play. Looking back on just the last week, I have seen people playing things from Rock Band (which I'll quit at anytime if you send me a PSN), MGS4, CoD4, R:FoM, Halo 3 (yeah, 360), and a few other random titles that I don't remember off the top of my head.
#2 - Get back into the habit of scheduling regular times to play. This seems to help a lot as far as clan activity goes. Unfortunately, I have been holding off on doing so because my plans keep hanging in the air on weekends (they will continue this way through beginning of July). So if someone wants to take charge here, that'd be great. During the week is also a definite possibility. Probably more so now that it is the summer.
#3 - Get some easy gb's for us to play. Everyone seems to pop online the moment they hear there is a gb even if they haven't be seen amongst the clan in 30 years.
Those seem to be the Big 3 as far as what is needed from leadership. Seeing as how the Big 3 just won the NBA championship, I say it is a fairly safe route to follow. I am not going to lie, I suck at keeping up any of those for an extended period of time. I definitely don't mind helping out, but I can't do it myself as I've proven over the last year or so. That's even with Papa's help. We really need more people getting involved in planning things. If we had a few people each week looking on gamebattles for matches, or trying to get the clan together just to play, I think we would do pretty well. That being said, we can't rely on just a specific 3 people. They will get burnt out, they will have things come up, etc. We need people willing to step up when others aren't getting things done. This keeps going back to the NBA for some reason (which I'm really not even a fan of), but when KG wasn't dominating, look at the points off the bench that saved Boston's life in the Finals. We need a few leaders and we need some role players to step up behind them from time to time.
From the point of view of a "role player", the best thing people can do is be active on the website or gaming with the clan. When no one has anything to say on the forums, people stop checking them. Trust me, I have had the new KOR site up for a few weeks now at least and we have maybe 8 people who have registered. That's counting Papa and I who have been registered for months as we worked on it. I'm working on trying to get it to be more community-based, but that's still taking some time. Chocolate's help here is definitely helping. I tried to get a solution working that would allow us to write our own blogs, but that ended badly. I'll explain in more detail if anyone cares.
So there's my analysis of the situation. Quite frankly, I keep myself too busy to carry the organization of this clan on my back, even with a bit of help here and there. I do much better in supporting others. I am more than willing to offer suggestions, advice, or cool technology to help the clan (such as website improvements). I just suck at being the responsible one. Anyways, I've probably said too much the way it is. There's my piece.

Alright, so from now until about August 20th I will be able to get together nights around 6-10 pm pst. I have been playing the single player of mgs4 alot when I have had time, but I should start playing the online part of the game starting this weekend. So if we want to play some games on MGO (create our own KOR room, sneaking mission pwns) or Resistance with a party (even though I suck balls now) I could join in.
I tried the BF: Bad Company demo and did not like it at all so I wont be buying the game. Also, I think that the socom beta should be starting in July or August (I already purchased the qore episode so i will get into the beta) and it will be heavily clan supported with superior voice chat supposively.
After the summer I wont be available until Christmas Break (~Dec. 15th- Jan. 15th) where I hope we call meet up and play alot of Resistance 2.

Italian give the BF demo another chance. I didn't like it that much at first (especially the single player) but the multiplayer grew on me now I can't stop playing it. Even playing it with just Bit and Marsh was awesome, the game sandwiches people into effective squads really well. Give the other classes a try, and the unlockable weapons make it way more fun. There IS a party system, it's under the Custom game option.
Anyways, we can all play a number of games as a clan, but we need to choose one out of the many to play as our GB/ organised practice game.

I have to agree with what Bnick has said. The more I've played Battlefield, the more it has grown on me. I still have yet to hear how MGS4 plays to know whether I want to spend any money on it. I've played some of the older ones and they're just not something I am really into these days. Unless it's been cranked up to make a good online game, I'm really just not interested.
That being said, if we can agree on a game, it will help a lot!

Well, I'm always up for some CoD and Resistence doesn't stop being fun. But I don't think I'll get BF for a bit. I wanna get MGS4 first. I doubt I'll play it online much, though. Luckily my birthday's coming up so I should get some money to pay for some games. Or I might buy a PSP. Depending on how much I get.

From my experience on Bad Company, it's not that bad. First time I tried it, I sucked real bad. The controls was something I had to get use to. Eventually, I pwned the crap out of those CPU NUBS!!!
I heard from my friend that MGS4 was HAWT. But first things first, I need to play the older games to know what the heck I am dealing with. I just borrowed MGS2: Sons of Liberty from my friend. So far, I love it. So, I might get MGS4 first before Bad Company.
But I am quite far from beating MGS2. There's also MGS3 I need to play.... But yeah, back on topic. I'm free like this whole Summer, call me up on PSN, forums, AIM, etc. and I'll RAPEZ THE SHITZ OUTZ OF THEMZ. STRAIGHT UP HOMIE!! NIKO BELLIC IN THE HOEZE. =]

It's summer now and even though I'm working, I will almost always be availabe to do some playing. I havent gotten MGS4 yet but i intend to sometime, til then COD4 is still sick for me. I'll be willing to give R:FOM another shot but like Italian said, I will suck balls. I'll download this BF: Bad Company thing that everyone's talking about and give it a shot. I started a doubles team with a friend of mine but I'll still play clan battles over doubles battles anyday if we can schedule them. I'll be honest and say that I don't feel l;ike scheduling battles. It's way too stressful for me to handle. I've been through it extensively scheduling R:FOM doubles battles and also tried my hand at clan scheduling for R:FOM and COD4 and I can't do it anymore than I have to for doubles right now.

What happened is we lost our drive. This can be blamed on a lot of reasons, R6V sucking, warhawk very week support just overall tough to put together, evil leaving for philippians and never being the same leader he once was when he got back, GB being retarded, and just people being busy to name a few. We've started to make some progress recently people are starting to get on and were starting to organize playing time (which we will see what kinda turnout we get tuesday). But theres still a lot to do. I mean we created this new site and added a bunch of great features with more on the way. But it almost feels like a waste because nobody checks it out. We always have fun when we get together, it just seems like nobody has the passion or drive to make that happen. We've always had great potential and we still do, but we have to pretty much get off the ground, dust ourselves off, push ourselves forward, get back to work, and start pwning some nubs!!!
