arigt arigt I'll get you some money jeez. Since the warhawk sharing thing didn't work out I guess this is my chance to chip in... i gave my dad 50$ for his card that I didn't wind up using... so I guess that's what I'll use it for. Is the 10$ a month the only fee? I can't find the donate button (I am terrible at finding anything...) but I'll keep looking and then try to get my dad to sign me up for paypal or whatever it requires.

aditional: we had better have some DAMNED FINE GBS for this. Cheesy

it's more than $10 a month.  the $10 you're thinking of is just the cost of the database.  i'm paying around a total of $25-$30 per month for the whole site, and then sometimes some added things for added costs.

from the forum main screen (the one that lists all the forums) click on any forum, and at the top there is an announcement called "read this!!".  click on that for the link to donate.

or to make things easier  you can just  click this link lol

by the by, it doesn't require a paypal account.  any credit card will work fine if you don't want to use a paypal account.

much oblidged

hmm the only thing the I see at that link is a paypal button. That's ok though I think my dad has a paypal account. I'll bug him about it tonight. If he doesn't I'll just set up one w/ his card... muahahaha!!!
edit: is there any urgency to this? I just want to know if you need it NOW or if I can get it to you by tomorrow or the next day.

yea the paypal button is the way to donate.

as far as urgency.  I'd never rush anyone, as it reeks of desperation and tackiness.  I will however say that I do have bills that need to be paid ROFL ^^

I was checking out the paypal area and (i've never actually used paypal before Shocked) it has a blank area for unit price... do I just enter 50.00 in there and then fill out the info? do I need to include the $ sign at all or before or after the 50.00? plz respond asap!!!

Mind if I ask why the hell we're paying $25-30 a month for this site?? It very honestly should be more like $10/month for everything. Feel free to itemize and I'll see what I can do to cut the costs.

you don't need to add the $ you can just put the ammt.

as far as the costs, it's for unlimited bandwidth and storage, that's why there's additional.  most hosting you are restricted on bandwidth and storage.  not this one.

lol i don't even know.  i'm sure not much.  i just don't get it for free anymore (not counting the database) because i don't work for cablevision anymore.  it's not too much of a concern, being as i finally got a job again.  it's just I was out for 3 months and until i get regulated every little thing is killing me ROFL.

please don't take this as any type of demand or whine, it's not.
