Rank 4112 out of over 65000!!! gj guys. Try to leave your machines running while you go to school or work, just as a habbit, and you'll get about 5-6 units done per week! If everybody did this we could be top 2000 easy!

Yeah, I left mines on mostly everyday last month but I think it was using a lot of electricity so I had to stop. I stopped after that so I'm probably on my 40 units. But last time I saw, Italian was on his 98 units and WOW!!! That's awesome dude. Keep up it up Italian, you're saving little babies man. ^_^

The PS3 has a 380 watt power supply, but only uses between 150-200w during normal usage. It's only about as bad as leaving 3 or 4 lights on.

My hat's off to Italian.  He's currently leading the team in work units.  It's not that he's just folding@home more than anyone, but it's also going towards a good cause.  Good job Italian and keep up the good work.

No one would have ever guessed that Italian would lead the team...

Actually, true story, last summer there was a possibility that I had cancer but it turned out to be benign thank God.  I got to keep getting checked every 1 or 2 years tho to be sure.

So that and seeing my Grandfather wither away from pancreatic cancer are my reasons to keep folding when i can.

Yeah I am sorry to hear that also Italian. Actually one of my best friends had leukemia cancer when we were in fourth grade. He was out for half the year and back bald and completely different in 5th grade. He is all better now. But he still needs to get an anual check up to make sure all of the cancer cells are still gone. All of my friends and I were young then and did not understand how big of a deal it was and how close to death he really was. And how lucky we are that he is still around and able to be our friend.

My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer about 4 years ago. Fucked around with our life and income for about a year. She got lucky though, it had a 1/4 chance of being fatal. This, like Italian, is one of the reasons I try and fold whenever I can. What's a little electricity compared to a life?
